Perhaps it will make my prose all the more bittersweet and heartrending, although I doubt that.

Working on a blog but it seems a bit more focused on quantity rather than quality -- although what did I expect? Journalism as I know it is gone . . . which makes me a little sad sometimes. Seeing elderly people in various stages of dementia is not anyone's ideal vacation, nor is a CAT scan. However, I'm doing better and I was released --- and now it feels more like summer vacation.

Darker sands, loads of seaweed and mud flats to go clamming (crabbing starts later in the month.)
